seattle – july 4th 2008 fireworks @ elliot bay
July 5th, 2008 Posted in newsthis was my first time shooting fireworks, and i didn’t have a monopod or tripod. i was rolling with the d40x and the nikon 18-200mm VR zoom lens. i handheld some of the shots, and also placed the camera on a ledge to take some photos with slower shutter speeds (8 seconds – 30 seconds). most of my shots were blurry and out of focus because i didn’t have a tripod, so i didn’t even bother posting them. the shots here are the ones that i liked for one reason or another, though most of them are crappy.
